    The Eastern Triathlon Series is managed by The BRAT Club, Sydney's old triathlon club established in 1985.

    All entry fees go into making the race bigger and better for you.

How The Series Works

Race for Points and Prizes

Every race earns you points in the Series. The better you place, the more points you get. Each race has cash podium prizes for 1st - 3rd place plus plenty of raffle drawn sponsored prizes which everyone can win.

Points will accumulative across the three races with bonus points also awarded.

First female and male place will be awarded 20 points, second 19 and so on. Every athlete who finishes (legally) will earn 1 point.

Three Races, One Series Winner

Each Series follows the calendar year. There are three races in each Series. Everyone is welcome from any club or no club at all.

You can enter all four races or just one.

The male and female ending the Series with the most points are crowned the Series Winners and are immortalised forever.

 FAQs

  • You need to arrive at 9am for registration. Race briefing starts 9:30am and the race kicks off at 10am sharp. Every race is held at Heffron Park Crit Course. Transition is set up outside the Des Renford Leisure Centre.

  • Everyone can race! We have first timers at every race along with Kona qualifiers. We have different waves for different speeds, so our race is suitable for everyone.

  • Sprint: 700m swim, 20km bike, 5km run.
    Enticer: 700m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
    Kids: 100m swim, 4km bike, 1km run

  • Yes! Anyone can race in the Eastern Triathlon Series. You do not need to be in a club either.

  • No refunds, however you can defer to another race up to 5 days before race day. Email race@bratclub.com.au.

  • You should estimate your finish time and choose the Grade that your expected time falls within. The Race Director reserves the right to change any athlete’s grade to ensure competitive racing and fairness.

    Male Grades:

    • A: <65mins

    • B: 65 - 75mins

    • C: 75 - 85mins

    • D: >85mins

    Female Grades:

    • A: <70mins

    • B: 70 - 80mins

    • C: >80mins
